In 1997, therapists Richard Kelly and Dena Aitken found themselves frustrated with their current positions as a cog in a large-scale, corporate, therapy machine.  Knowing that it could be done better, and more personally, Richard and Dena set out to create an atmosphere that would not only be fun for the employees working there but also be an enjoyable experience for the patient.

In the summer of 1997, Richard and Dena founded Greater Lewisville Therapy Center, which later became Greater Therapy Centers, Inc., and opened the first clinic in Lewisville, Texas.  Their relaxed attitude and entrepreneurial spirit set well with their patients, employees and area doctors, and soon they opened their second center in Plano, Texas.  Over the past 10 years, Greater Therapy Centers, Inc., has expanded to six therapy centers across Dallas and the surrounding area.

Over the years Richard and Dena have found that having a relaxed, enjoyable experience for patients and employees promotes greater overall outcomes for the patients they treat, greater employee retention and greater relationships with the doctors that refer patients.

Richard and Dena continue to run the day to day operations of Greater Therapy Centers, Inc., and hope to continue to expand their greater brand of therapy across Dallas, across Texas and ultimately across the United States.
